Welcome to DeenUp. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully. By accessing or using DeenUp's mobile application or related services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Your Account

You may sign in using email, Apple, or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information. Notify us immediately at vip@deenup.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.

3. License to Use the Services

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal and non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by DeenUp.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes
  • Harass, bully, or target others based on religion, ethnicity, gender, or other protected characteristics
  • Upload or transmit content that is harmful, defamatory, threatening, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or that promotes self-harm or terrorism
  • Interfere with or disrupt system integrity or security
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code
  • Use the Services to spread misinformation presented as authoritative religious rulings

We may restrict or remove content or accounts to protect users and uphold these standards.

5. Sensitive Religious Content and Respect

DeenUp includes religious themes that some users may find sensitive. You agree to engage respectfully and not use the Services to attack others' beliefs, provoke hostility, or promote sectarian conflict.

6. User Content and Moderation

If you submit content (for example, messages or journal text), you grant DeenUp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and process it solely to provide and improve the Services.

We may review, remove, or restrict content that violates these Terms or legal requirements. You may report concerns to vip@deenup.app.

7. AI-Generated Content and No Professional Advice

The Services may generate responses using artificial intelligence. AI content may be incorrect, incomplete, or outdated. It is provided for educational and spiritual support only.

Nothing in the Services constitutes religious rulings (fatwa), counseling, legal, medical, or other professional advice. Always consult qualified scholars or professionals for serious matters.

You use AI-generated responses at your own discretion and risk.

8. No Guarantee of Accuracy

Scripture, translations, and referenced content may come from third-party sources. We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, availability, or completeness.

Use of such information is at your own risk.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and use your data.

10. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Payments, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play.

DeenUp does not collect or store your full payment card information.

You can manage your subscription through your platform account settings.

11. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted providers such as authentication, hosting, and AI processing services. While we take care in selecting them, we do not control their actions and are not responsible for failures caused by third parties.

12. Intellectual Property

DeenUp, including its name, logo, design, software, and content, is owned by DeenUp or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

If you believe content infringes your rights, contact vip@deenup.app and we will review promptly.

13. Safety Measures and Enforcement

We may use automated and manual tools to reduce harmful behavior, misinformation, and abuse. We may take action, including feature restrictions or account termination, to protect users and comply with law.

14. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as-is" and "as-available" without any warranties, whether implied or express, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Use of the Services is at your own risk.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • DeenUp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • DeenUp is not liable for lost data, lost profits, emotional harm, or reputational damage
  • Our total liability for any claim will not exceed: The greater of 50 USD or the amount you paid DeenUp in the 12 months before the event.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify DeenUp and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

17. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in the app.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations or legal reasons.

Sections such as disclaimers, limitations, and intellectual property survive termination.

18. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates become effective when posted. Continued use of the Services means you accept the revised Terms.

19. Export and Sanctions Compliance

You may not use the Services in violation of export control or sanctions laws.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the complete agreement between you and DeenUp regarding the Services. If any part is found unenforceable, the remaining parts still apply.
